Prom in the Park 2023
A couple of fun facts
The prom in the Park events started back in 2020 when due to the pandemic all of the schools went virtual and prom was cancelled. This seemed like a really fun way to get to celebrate these awesome high schoolers during this important time of their lives, as well as an opportunity to give back to the community... It was a lot of fun and so it became a tradition.
the "park" is actually just my front yard (but Prom-in-the-yard didn't sound as catchy)
My 3 year old was absolutely mesmerized by all of the "pretty sparkle princesses" that were twirling in the yard.
Thank you to everyone that made this event such a success! we raised money for the Union County Loaves and Fishes, and collected prom dresses for the Waxhaw Woman's Club!
