The Hochstaetter's
I was so happy to get to catch up with this beautiful family last week while I was up in Raleigh for an in-home session . These kids have each grown like a foot since the last time I got to bombard them with pictures (where does the time go?) Thank you Hochstaetter's for dealing with my shenanigans! #Family #familyportrait #lifestyle #inhome #Raleigh

Victoria {boudoir}
If I could only shoot one thing for the rest of forever... it would probably be boudoir! I love the feeling of getting to help other women feel their best, that moment when you show them their Final images and they get to see the beauty that everyone else sees is just really an awesome and empowering thing. That being said, it is very rare that I actually get the opportunity to post my boudoir work, So Thank you very much Victoria for letting me post these! #charlotteboudoir

Alexandra
So this is the third time that I have had the joy of working with Alex! The first time she was stuck hanging upside down in aerial silks (See post: Raleigh Fitness Shoot) The second time she had to deal with my rediculous demands, while sporting rollerskates or standing on top of my car to chase the sunset (See post: Alexandra) so this go around was fairly tame for us! I was so happy to be back in the studio! ( Thank you Jeremy Deihl at Raleigh Photo Allegiance for letting us

The Foust Family
When I count the Blessings in my life, this family is definitely one of them! The Foust's are my wonderful next door neighbors, who have put up with us through our farming endeavors, my dogs squirrel hunting and barking, our constant mooching, and just dealing with the drama that is the Waggoner house (even though their dog and my dog are soulmates, so we do have that redeeming factor). They are the greatest, so when the boys were home over the holidays, I got to bombard the

Maddy & Hunter - The Kitchen Sessions pt.2
If you don't frequent my blog, I recently discovered that my kitchen window offers the most amazing light, regardless of the time of day. I didn't know that is was possible to have a window as a muse... but alas, here we are. Over Christmas break I bombarded a slew of people, making them pose in my teeny tiny kitchen. Thank you Hunter and Maddy for once again being my victims and dealing with my shenanigans, and thank you, kitchen window for the beautiful lighting! #couples #

Ruth
I always brag that I have the coolest inlaws... but my in-law's in-laws are pretty swell as well! I had the joy of hanging out with Ruth and her sister this past week over Christmas, so obviously I had to get her in front of the camera! Thank you Ruth for dealing with my shenanigans and being such a trooper in the freezing weather! #portrait #nature #winter #CharlottePhotographer

Sleeklens - Strike a Pose Workflow {review}
I am going to kick off my 2018 blogging a tad differently than my normal session posts, with a product review!!! While it may seem that a photographer's job is simply going to fun locations with beautiful clients and snapping pictures, the reality is that about 90% of our job is spent sitting in front a computer. Editing and post processing can be an extremely tedious process, so I was super excited when Sleeklens asked me to try out their editing workflow, since I am ALL abo
